Becoming a home inspector is the culmination of Shunny’s diverse experience, background, and interests. Inspired by the lessons from his mechanical engineer grandfather and electrical engineer father, Shunny has always had a passion for understanding how things work and building or fixing just about anything. These skills were put to the test in the restoration of his own 95-year-old gambrel colonial home, which had almost every issue a home inspector could imagine when he first purchased it.

Before becoming a home inspector, Shunny owned and operated a woodworking business where “custom made” was the standard and absolute customer satisfaction was the goal. Combining a lifetime of service experience and trade skills, Shunny entered the home inspection industry to provide clients with the peace of mind that comes from a thorough home evaluation. Shunny is a member of the American Society of Home Inspectors and its regional chapter, ASHI New England. He has achieved ASHI’s highest rating, ASHI Certified Inspector, and maintains this certification through ongoing industry education programs.
